stir pr’s 2024 trend predictions
What are the industry trends influencing PR in 2024? 🔮
We asked our Stirrers to share their insights and foresights on the trends we expect to see this year in Comms.
Anna Craven, Associate Director:
This year PR will continue to influence other comms disciplines. We've always had to put authentic and engaging storytelling at the heart of what we do. So it's natural that other disciplines are paying attention to that.
Richard Thiardt, Head of Creative:
2024 will see AI image generation be a big trend. Where it was a bit of a gimmick bit of fun that you could have in the office. We actually now use things like Canva’s Dall-e to plug in to generate a lot of images for our pitch decks.
Callie Skinner, Account Manager:
This year brands will make a real effort to work with talent that align with their brand, align with their audience, and really reach consumers to build that trust and authenticity through the content.
Polly Atherton, Managing Director:
In 2024 we're going to see a lot more emphasis on harder working comms integrated campaigns as the demand for ROI increases.
Lauren Frost, Account Director:
I think 2024 we're going to see quite a lot more brands activating with purpose and they won't just be doing it as a one off thing.
Brandon Tourle, Account Manager:
I think in 2024 there'll be a real rise in PR campaigns with authenticity. I think in the sort of current state affairs with all the fake news and uncertainty in the world I think consumers are going to be increasingly interested in campaigns that have a real relatable tone of voice.
Lily Hall, Account Executive:
I think that influencer content is going to become heavily PR based integrating storytelling into their content across social media platforms.
