What is the biggest day in the Taco Bell calendar is for many in the UK, just another Monday. So our friends at Taco Bell challenged us to get young people from across the UK, talking about tacos on National Taco Day.

We know young people love what’s exclusive, what their favourite influencers are repping and most of all free food!

OUR JOB

Create a national news story to announce the giveaway of free tacos simply by ‘texting a taco emoji for a free taco’ via What’sApp, grabbing the attention of media and young consumers alike.

Your average Monday is crap, but this is no average Monday, Taco Bell wants you to celebrate National Taco Day this year and enjoy the joy a delicious FREE Crunchy Taco can bring!

Taste the Emoji – Turn a taco emoji into a free taco this National Taco Day

Taco Bell® gave free tacos to the nation to celebrate National Taco Day on Monday 4th October.

By simply WhatsApping the taco emoji to a preset number, taco lovers could exchange their emoji for the real thing. Available at all 71 UK restaurants.

In addition for those eager taco fans in London, the first 100 fans who visited the London Baker Street restaurant, received their free Crunchy Taco from none other than YouTuber and social media favourite, Chunkz!
