Passionate about flavour exploration and embracing the new, The Botanist and Selfridges came up with a truly wild idea – one that’s given birth to four delicious, foraged cocktails this summer, each available in Harry Gordon’s Bar, The Corner Restaurant & Champagne Bar, Aubaine and Forest on the Roof.
Last month, an expert forager and The Botanist Brand Ambassador took eight of Selfridges’ bartenders foraging in Hampstead Heath, London. Each bartender picked a selection of edible ingredients, which were later mixed with The Botanist Gin via The Botanist Infuser (a cold-drip coffee infuser, handmade in Korea) to develop unique syrups. These syrups were combined with other ingredients to create four seasonal cocktails, which bring to life the flavour exploration and discovery at the heart of The Botanist brand.
To help celebrate this partnership, we held an intimate press event in Harry Gordon’s Bar. Guests were able to try each cocktail at the launch preview, alongside a selection of ‘wild’ canapés.
