S.Pellegrino ‘Live in Italian’ on the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Terrace.

From the 11th July to the 7th August, S.Pellegrino invites Londoners to ‘Live in Italian’, as we transform the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Terrace into a stunning alfresco piazza. The ŒLive in Italian¹ Terrace is inspired by Italy’s rustic piazzas, encapsulating the Italian dining experience of long, meandering meal times and fresh seasonal ingredients.

What’s more, our close friends at the Italian Supper Club have curated authentic dishes for the day time menu ­ all to be served alfresco transporting you to Italy in summertime. Alongside the lunchtime menu, the resident ŒLive in Italian¹ chefs Ollie Dabbous of Dabbous, Theo Randall at The Intercontinental, James Lowe of Lyles and Alyn Williams of The Westbury will each host a banquet, every Tuesday of the takeover. Celebrating Italy¹s creativity, passion and togetherness, the chefs will create a four course menu with Italian influence, accompanied by S.Pellegrino and Italian wines.

On Tuesday night, the fabulous Ollie Dabbous, who holds one Michelin star, presented a four course menu of absolute treats:

·      Buffalo milk ricotta with Cipollini onions, crushed Sicilian pistachios, Amalfi lemon & nepitella

·      Salmon crudo with chioggia beetroot & marigold shoots

·      Charred farinata, grilled spring lamb & crushed green herbs

·      Wild strawberry tartlet; mascarpone cream

Guests were treated to Prosecco on arrival before being seated on the beautiful S.Pellegrino garden terrace. Ollie presented each dish and talked us through the origins of each ingredient – it was particularly lovely to hear that the ricotta was made by an old Italian woman in West London! By the end of the evening, it was evident that our 40 guests (a mix of media and consumers) were absolutely delighted with the evening ­top marks Ollie! We can¹t wait for Theo Randall’s banquet next Tuesday…
